Live Oak Nature Education Center
To Create the Live Oak Education Center Aransas First and the Aransas County School District received a grant from the GLO Coastal Management Program for $100,000, CBBEP for $58,000 and Aransas County for $10,000 to build the trails, ponds, and pavilions that connect to the Tule Hike and Bike trail. Work was done to widen and slope that portion of Tule Ditch West to create a meandering stream and small ponds along the Hike and Bike Trail as well as build Nature Education Outdoor Classrooms for ACISD and public use.
Enter the trail via Inverrary Drive or from the Tule Hike and Bike Trail
