Phillips 66 Donation for new Solar Well

Alongside our friends from Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, we had a wonderful on-site opportunity to extend our extreme gratitude to the folks from Phillips 66 who generously donated $20,000 for the installation of the new solar well on the Aransas First Lamar-Burton property.

This allows us to be even better stewards of the land by providing fresh drinking water for a host of species including waterfowl, herons, egrets, native mammals, sandhill cranes, and especially whooping cranes! We appreciate Phillips 66 and CBBEP for partnering with Aransas First to advance our mission to conserve and restore critical habitat in Aransas County.
